课程内容简介：本课程为研究生写作课，目的是为研一或博一的学生在读研初期去摸索和熟悉专业科学史写作技巧和习惯。通过工作坊的形式，本课程要求学生去掌握如何去准备和书写研究“prospectus”。和一般项目计划书 (“proposal”)不同，prospectus泛指研究者对于未来研究项目的愿景和展望， 而不只是满足于当下某个写作目标。我希望研究生在读研初期能结合个人兴趣、研究动机、研究重要性等因素，对未来的研究生涯作出一个整体的规划。
Course Description： This is a workshop-style course where students develop and peer review graduate-level project prospectuses, such as those for theses and dissertations. Refining one’s project also helps inform grant applications and journal submissions. Particularly designed for graduate students in the History and Philosophy of Science, this course aims to help students develop skills to prepare and present one’s own research in the form of “prospectus” and help them craft one’s own research arc in the years to come.
