Sara Dry's The Newton Papers: The Strange and True Odyssey of Isaac Newton's Manuscripts was published by Oxford University Press in 2014. Dry is a historian of science and has a Ph.D. from the Department of History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Cambridge. The book traces the tangled history of Newton’s private writings from Newton’s death in 1727 into the present day and shows how Newton has been made and re-made throughout history by those seeking to reconcile the cosmic contradictions of an extraordinarily complex man.
