Course Description：Aimed at graduate students who need to read and translate ancient Greek texts for their academic research, this course is designed to introduce them to the basics of Greek grammar and Greek philology. Greek morphology and syntax are outlined in an intensive form with the help of a comparative-historical approach. It also provides the minimum of knowledge required for finding, reading and understanding Greek sources, such as the history of textual editing and criticism of Greek materials, forms of Greek texts, and digital humanities tools.
